Mr. Dhari Dawood Al-Quraishi is a visionary and strategic technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the banking and telecom industries. He excels in delivering advanced technology systems, solutions, and applications, thriving in fast-paced, challenging environments. Known for his team-building prowess, Mr. Al-Quraishi focuses on developing high-performing leaders and fostering a culture of excellence. His unique blend of business management and technical expertise enables him to lead multiple operational and development teams towards achieving performance goals, operating requirements, and financial objectives.

As the Acting Group CIO and previously as the Head of IT at the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Mr. Al-Quraishi led Group IT across 15 countries, spearheading business and technology partnerships, and managing over 250 employees and a significant vendor network. His leadership resulted in significant achievements, including the launch of NBK’s digital bank (Weyay) known now as NBK Data center, a 60% increase in IT productivity, and a 12% improvement in security compliance.

Prior to his tenure at NBK, Mr. Al-Quraishi served as the Director of Operation Support System & Quality at Zain, where he oversaw all aspects of technology monitoring and IT/Telecom networks.

Mr. Al-Quraishi’s competencies include leadership, creativity, resilience under pressure, and effective communication. He holds a B.Cs in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University and has undergone extensive training in leadership and management from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and London Business School.

He was also a member of the board of Directors of the Qualitynet Board and the Foundation Board of Knet 2. Passionate about leading technology-driven transformations, Mr. Al-Quraishi is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development.
