ITS-Kuwait University Cooperation Agreement

Kuwait University’s College of Computer Sciences and Engineering (CSE)and International Turnkey Systems (ITS) Company Sign a Cooperation Agreement toBridge the Gap between University Education and Business Market Requirements

​The Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Engineering, Prof. Fawaz S. Al-Anzi, emphasized Kuwait University’s vision on developing Kuwaiti youth for the business market. 

The College of CSE builds comprehensive student growth plans that aim to fulfill all requirements to help ensure employment after graduation by means of crafting contracts with successful companies of good reputation.

Therefore, the College of Computer Sciences and Engineering signed a cooperation agreement with ITS to build bridges between the academic circles of university education and business market requirements.

At the beginning of his speech, Mr. Nasr Al-Bikawi the CEO of ITS, underscored ITS’s reputation in the global market as a pioneer in the field of integrated information technology and software services for over 35 years in the Middle East and GCC.  ITS provides creative solutions that support companies and organizations to quickly adapt to advanced global technologies, giving companies their competitive edge. Moreover, ITS boasts of its reputation of providing high-end quality services with world-class specifications in various sectors including banking, e-government, education and oil sectors, Mr Al-Bikawi added.

Henceforward, the cooperation agreement was concluded between the two parties to bridge the gap between university education and business market requirements, and most importantly to benefit the society as a whole, including but not limited to, general fields of cooperation such as:

–        Joint Industry and Research activities

–        Exchange visits between experts to conduct research and training

–        Concentrated training programs for students

–        Sponsorship of the graduation projects

–        Exchange of information on scholarships including research papers and academic thesis indexes

–        Books and magazines of relevant topics and potential joint projects whenever possible and appropriate

–        Extend invitations to attend academic and technical meetings as well as national and international conferences

–        Linking talents to available jobs

At the conclusion of his thank you speech, the Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Engineering, Prof. Fawaz S. Al-Anzi, expressed his best wishes for a successful and fruitful cooperation in light of the numerous major future projects for the college; projects which will enable the university to reach higher and exceed expectations in the field of continuing education for which we, as a society, place great hopes.
