ITS Group Strengthens Its Business Transformation Drive with New Strategic Appointment

Industry veteran Khaled Al Issa takes over as Executive Director of Client Solutions as the company prepares to embark on its new growth plan.

Continuing the build-up of its senior leadership and business plan as part of the company’s restated strategic vision for long-term, profitable growth, ITS (International Turnkey Systems) Group, a leading Information Technology solutions provider for financial institutions, education, energy and utilities, communication, and government sectors, today announced the appointment of Khaled Al Issa as Executive Director of Client Solutions.

An Industry veteran, Al Issa brings 37 years of experience within the local market, having held senior positions in Marketing, Business Development, and Human Resources at leading government and private organizations including the Ministry of Oil, the Kuwait Insulating Material Manufacturing Co., and the Amiri Diwan Social development Office. Al Issa has had a previous stint with the ITS Group, having served as Business Relation & Administration Manager and Business Development Consultant from 2000 to 2006, and now rejoins his former company from National Industries, where he held the position of Marketing & Human Resources Manager.

In his role as Executive Director of Client Solutions, Al Issa will be responsible for developing new business and increasing ITS sales revenue in the Kuwaiti market. He will also be responsible for implementing strategic business plans through establishment of long-term relationships with new and existing clients in Kuwait and other GCC countries, as well as for identifying, analyzing and bringing to market new solutions and products.

“Khaled brings with him a wealth of experience and we are delighted to welcome him back to the ITS family,” said L John Loomis, ITS’ CEO. “His intimate knowledge of the local and regional markets and his strong industry connections will add considerable value to our operations as we embark on our new growth plan for the Group.

Al Issa said, “The years that I spent at ITS have been an important learning curve in my career, so in many ways this is homecoming for me. I’m very excited to be a part of the dynamic team at ITS at a time when the company is at a crucial stage in its further development and is charting a new trajectory for continued excellence and sustained growth.”

The appointment of Al Issa follows ITS’ recent announcement of a ‘transformative’ restructuring of its business focus, organisation model, processes and product positioning to meet new macroeconomic realities and prepare the company to embark on a sustained, profitable growth journey. The strategic reorientation plan, dubbed the ‘Turnaround’, was initiated by newly-appointed CEO L. John Loomis and aims to reposition ITS as a preeminent, cutting-edge IT and business solutions provider.
